Heterocyclic compounds with oxygen hetero-atom(s) only: other: other

Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

None: russian bans and restrictions, conformity assessment, dual use, trade defence measures — duty on top of the tariff, tariff quota.

Whether a measure applies to your goods depends on their characteristics and the shipping documents

VAT

White or yellowish-white crystalline powder odorless, soluble in ethanol. It reacts with alkalis with a cherry-red color, which disappears when the solution is acidified. Used as a chemical reagent and as a laxative. This group includes iodphenolphthalein. Yellow powder, also used as a laxative. This heading, however, does not cover: (i) sodium derivatives of phthalene tetrahalides (heading 2918); (ii) fluorescein (resorcine-phthalene) (heading 3204); (p) thymolphthalene. White crystals; also used as a reagent in analysis and medicine; (c) isoascorbic acid. Granular crystals. It should be noted, however, that this heading does not include ascorbic acid (heading 2936); (t) dehydracetic acid. Colorless crystals not soluble in water; (y) ambrettolide. Hydromercuriodibromofluorescein is classified in heading 2852. Certain substances of this heading relating under international instruments to narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances are listed at the end of Chapter 29. This heading does not cover: (a) ketones peroxides (heading 2909); (b) epoxides with a three-membered ring (heading 2910); (c) cyclic polymers of aldehydes (heading 2912) or thioaldehydes (heading 2930); (d) anhydrides of polybasic carboxylic acids and cyclic esters of polyalcoins or phenols with polybasic acids (heading 2917). Explanation of the subheading. Subheading 2932 20 Lactones containing an additional heteroatom other than a lactone group oxygen atom (e.g., dilactone) in the same ring shall not be included in subheadings dealing with lactones. In such cases, an additional heteroatom should be taken into account in determining the classification. For example, anhydromethylene limonic acid is to be classified in subheading 2932 99 and not in subheading 2932 20. If the etheric functional group is part of two or more rings and if one of these rings does not contain an additional heteroatom (other than an oxygen atom of the lactone group), such a molecule should be considered a lactone. For inclusion in subheading 2932 2 0, lactones must have different lactone groups separated by at least one m carbon atom at each end. However, this subheading does not include products in which carbon atoms separating and adjacent to lactone groups form an oxo group (>C=O), an imino group (>C=NH) or a thiox group (>C=S).
