Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

7006 Glass of heading 7003, 7004 or 7005, bent, faceted, engraved, drilled, enameled or otherwise treated, but not inserted into the frame or combined with other materials
This heading covers glass of the kinds described in headings 7003 – 7005 which has been worked by one or more of the processes mentioned below. However, the heading excludes safety glass (heading 7007), multiple-walled insulating units of glass (heading 7008) and glass mirrors (heading 7009). The heading covers: (A) Bent glass, such as special glass (e.g., for shop windows), obtained by bending flat glass sheets by heat (in special furnaces and moulds), but excluding curved glass of heading 7015. (B) Glass with worked edges (ground, polished, rounded, notched, chamfered, profiled, etc.), which has thereby acquired the character of articles such as glass for table tops, for scales or other weighing apparatus, inspection windows and the like, for various signs, finger plates for locks, glass for photograph frames, etc., for window panes, glass for furniture, etc. (C) Perforated or grooved glass obtained by subsequent operations, etc. (D) Glass surface-worked after manufacture, e.g., glass treated by obscuring processes (sand-blasted glass, or glass obscured by emery or acid treatment); frosted glass; glass engraved or etched by any process; enamelled glass (i.e., decorated with enamels or vitrifiable colours); glass with various designs, decorations, etc., applied by any process (by hand, by printing, by screen printing, etc.), and other glass decorated by any process, other than glass painted entirely by hand and constituting paintings of heading 9701. The heading covers not only flat glass in the form of semi-finished products (e.g., sheets not intended for any particular purpose), but also articles of flat glass intended for a specific use, provided they are not framed, backed or combined with any other material. The heading therefore covers, inter alia, finger plates (for door locks or switches) made entirely of glass with sharp edges removed or of perforated glass, and signs, even if bevelled, coloured or ornamented with designs or otherwise decorated. However, glass sheets in wooden frames or in base metal frames for photographs, pictures, etc., fall in heading 4414 or 8306, respectively; ornamental mirrors, framed or not, with designs printed on one surface fall in heading 7009 or 7013; serving trays consisting of a glass plate, whether or not coloured, with a frame and
Heading 7013; advertisements, signs, street names and house numbers, plates, letters, figurines and similar glass articles on a paper, cardboard, felt, metal, etc. basis or in a frame are of heading 7020 (or heading 9405 if they glow). Also, glass plates in frames or fixed to other mothers alas, and therefore taking on the character of parts of machines or devices or parts of furniture, are classified in conjunction with these machines, devices or furniture. Glass plates for furniture, without frames or fixed on other materials, are classified in this heading if presented separately, but if they are supplied simultaneously with pieces of furniture (collection or not) and are specifically intended to be fixed on them, they are considered together with pieces of furniture. Photographic glass plates (sensitized, exposed or manifested) are classified in Chapter 37. Glass plates bearing electrical circuits consisting of stamped electrically conductive metal pastes and heating glass plates with metallized strips or patterns acting as electrical resistances are included in Chapter 85.

(b) articles of Chapter 71 (for example, jewelry);
(c) fiber optic cables of heading 8544, electrical insulators (heading 8546) or fittings of insulating materials of heading 8547;
(d) front windshields, rear windows and other framed windows for vehicles of Chapters 86 to 88;
(e) front windshields, rear windows and other windows, whether or not framed, containing heating or other electrical or electronic devices for vehicles of Chapters 86 to 88;
(f) optical fibers, optically processed optical elements, subcutaneous injection syringes, artificial eyes, thermometers, barometers, hydrometers or other articles of Chapter 90;
(g) luminaires and lighting fixtures, light signs, light plates bearing a name or address or similar articles having an integrated light source or parts thereof of heading 9405;

2. For headings 7003, 7004 and 7005:
(a) the glass is not considered to be “treated” by whatever processes it undergoes prior to annealing;
(b) the cutting of the glass in its shape does not change its classification as sheet glass;
(c) the term “absorbing, reflective or non-reflective layer” means a microscopically thin coating with a metal or chemical compound (e.g., a metal oxide) that absorbs, for example, infrared radiation or improves the reflectivity of the glass while maintaining its degree of transparency or transmittance; or that prevents light from reflecting from the surface of the glass.
3. Articles falling within heading 7006 are also included where they have the character of finished articles.
4. For the purposes of heading 7019, the term “glass” means:
(a) mineral wool with a content of silica (SiO2) not less than 60 wt.%;
(b) mineral wool with a content of silica (SiO2) less than 60 wt.%, alkali metal oxide (K2O or Na2O) more than 5 wt.% or boron oxide (B2O3) more than 2 wt.%.
Other types of mineral wool are classified in heading 6806.
5. Throughout the Nomenclature, the term “glass” means fused quartz and other fused silica.
