Russia's trade: June 2025
Excluding fuel and energy (HS chapter 27): exports $13.7bn, imports excluding China $6.9bn. Changes are against June 2024, counting only countries that reported for both months.
The month in brief
Belarus, Iran, the UAE, Vietnam and a number of other countries do not submit foreign trade reports to the international database, so their trade with Russia is not shown here. Exports to China are shown from China's own report.

The month in brief
China is missing from the list, although for many goods it is the main supplier: its shipments are not visible by product, only China's overall totals. Belarus, Iran, the UAE, Vietnam and a number of other countries do not submit foreign trade reports to the international database, so their trade with Russia is not shown here.

Methodology
- Russia does not publish its monthly foreign trade by product, so its trade is rebuilt from partner countries' reports: Russia's exports are counted from partners' imports from Russia, and its imports from partners' exports to Russia.
- Exports to China are taken from China's own report by product. China's exports to Russia by product are not yet counted here, so they are missing from Russia's imports.
- Belarus, Iran, the UAE, Vietnam and a number of other countries do not submit foreign trade reports to the international database, so their trade with Russia is not in the review.
- Values are in US dollars. Partners record their imports including delivery and insurance (CIF), so Russia's exports here are higher than the Russian valuation at the border (FOB). For raw materials the difference is 13–35%.
- Fuel and energy (HS chapter 27) are excluded from all totals. Exports under the codes restricted by Decree No. 686 of 28 September 2026 are excluded as well.
- Change is measured against the same month of the previous year and only across countries that reported for both months. Countries missing a report for either month are left out of the percentage and named in the month summary.
- The monthly total includes every reporting partner, while the percentage covers comparable partners only. That is why the difference between two totals and the percentage may not match.
- Main partners and products are ranked by value for the month, with the share of the monthly total. The growth and decline lists are ranked by the change in dollars against the previous year.
- No percentage is shown for a product if a year earlier its value was under $1m, or if more than half of the current value comes from countries without a report for the previous year. For a sector, only if a year earlier its value was under $1m.
- Products are HS subheadings of six digits. Sectors group HS chapters: food 01–24, mineral products 25–27, chemicals 28–38, plastics and rubber 39–40, wood and paper 44–49, textiles and clothing 50–67, precious stones and metals 71, metals 72–83, machinery and equipment 84–90. All other chapters fall under other goods.
- The chart shows 13 months under the same rules. Hatched months are those not every country has reported yet.
- A month's review is published once at least 80 countries have reported for that month and as many for the same month a year earlier.
- The review figures are estimated from other countries' reports, so they are not fit for accounting or customs reporting.
