0711 90 10 — Fruits of genus Capsicum or Pimenta provisionally preserved, e.g. by sulphur dioxide gas, in brine, in sulphur water or in other preservative solutions, but unsuitable in that state for immediate consumption (excl. sweet pepper)
Fruits of genus Capsicum or Pimenta provisionally preserved, e.g. by sulphur dioxide gas, in brine, in sulphur water or in other preservative solutions, but unsuitable in that state for immediate consumption (excl. sweet pepper)
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

Explanatory notes to heading 0711 2 paragraphs
Machine translation from Russian. The original is the EEC explanatory note, and that is what a classification dispute is argued from; the translation is for understanding and has no legal force.
0711 Vegetables provisionally preserved (for example, by sulphur dioxide gas, in brine, in sulphur water or in other provisional preservative solutions), but unsuitable in that state for immediate consumption: 0711 20 – Olives, black or green 0711 40 – Cucumbers and gherkins – Mushrooms and truffles: 0711 51 – – Mushrooms of the genus Agaricus 0711 59 – – Other 0711 90 – Other vegetables; mixtures of vegetables
This heading applies to vegetables which have been treated solely to ensure their provisional preservation against spoilage during transport or storage prior to use (e.g., by sulphur dioxide gas, in brine, in sulphur water or in other provisional preservative solutions), provided they remain unsuitable for immediate consumption in that state. The vegetables of this heading are generally put up in casks or drums and are used mainly as raw material for further processing; the principal ones are onions, olives (black or green), capers, cucumbers, gherkins, mushrooms, truffles and tomatoes. However, the heading excludes products which, in addition to provisional preservation in brine, have also undergone special treatment (e.g., with soda solution, by lactic fermentation); these fall in Chapter 20 (e.g., olives (black or green), sauerkraut, gherkins and French beans, or green beans).
