0713 32 00 — Dried leguminous vegetables, shelled, whether or not skinned or split: beans (Vigna spp., Phaseolus spp.): small red (adzuki) beans (Phaseolus or Vigna angularis)

Dried leguminous vegetables, shelled, whether or not skinned or split: beans (Vigna spp., Phaseolus spp.): small red (adzuki) beans (Phaseolus or Vigna angularis)

Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

Machine translation. The original is the Russian text of the EAEU tariff, and customs goes by it; this translation is for understanding only and has no legal force.

This heading covers legumes of heading 0708, dried and peeled, used for food or for livestock feed (e.g. peas, chickpeas, fine red beans (adzuki) and other beans, lentils, fodder or horse beans, guar beans), even if they are intended for sowing (whether etched or not) or for other purposes. They may be subjected to moderate heat treatment mainly to ensure their better preservation by inactivating enzymes (in particular peroxidases) and reducing moisture content; however, such treatment should not affect the condition of the cotyledon. Dried legumes of this heading may be peeled from the seed peel or pricked.

70 The heading excludes: (a) flour, meal and powder of dried shelled leguminous vegetables (heading 1106); (b) soya beans (heading 1201); (c) seeds of vetch (other than large-seeded and small-seeded fodder beans), of wild vetch and of lupines (heading 1209); (d) locust beans (carob) (heading 1212). Subheading Explanatory Note. Subheading 0713 31 This subheading covers only beans of the species Vigna mungo (L.) Hepper, also known as urd or mungo bean, and beans of the species Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek, also known as mash or golden gram. Both species are widely used for the production of bean sprouts.
