1512 11 99 — Crude safflower oil (excl. for technical or industrial uses)
Crude safflower oil (excl. for technical or industrial uses)
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

(A) Sunflower oil. This oil is obtained from sunflower seeds (Helianthus annuus), it has a light golden yellow color. It is used as a salad oil in the production of margarine and Lard substitutes. Sunflower oil is semi-drying, which determines its use in the production of paints or varnishes. (B) SAFLORE OIL. The seeds of safflower (Carthamus tinc toris), this important plant dye, give drying edible oil. It is used in cooking and medicine, is used for the manufacture of alkyd resins, paints and varnishes. (C) Cotton oil. This is the most valuable of the semi-drying oils obtained from the seeds of some species of the genus Gossypium. Cotton oil is widely used in industry, for example, in the manufacture of leather, soaps, lubricants, glycerol and water repellent formulations, and as a basis for cosmetic creams. Pure refined ovan cotton oil is valued as a salad or cooking oil, in the production of margarine and lard substitutes. Explanation of subheadings.
