Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

3307 Pre-shave, shaving or after-shave preparations, personal deodorants, bath preparations, depilatories and other perfumery, cosmetic or toilet preparations, not elsewhere specified or included; prepared room deodorisers, whether or not perfumed or having disinfectant properties: 3307 10 – pre-shave, shaving or after-shave preparations 3307 20 – personal deodorants and antiperspirants 3307 30 – perfumed bath salts and other bath preparations – preparations for perfuming or deodorising rooms, including odoriferous preparations used during religious rites: 3307 41 – – "agarbatti" and other odoriferous preparations which operate by burning 3307 49 – – other 3307 90 – other

This heading covers: (I) Means used before, during or after shaving, such as shaving creams and foams containing soap or other organic surfactants (see note 1(c) to chapter 34); after-shave lotions, cube alum and hemostatic pencils. Shaving soap in blocks is excluded (heading 3401). Deodorants (for the body) and individual antiperspirants. (iii) Bath preparations, such as flavored salts and bath formulations, containing or not containing soap or other organic surfactants (see note 1(c) to Chapter 34). Skin products in which the active ingredient consists wholly or partly of synthetic surfactants (which may contain soap in any proportion), in the form of a liquid or cream and packaged for retail sale, are classified in heading 3401. Such items not prepackaged for retail sale are classified in heading 3402.

(IV) Preparations for perfuming or deodorizing rooms, including odoriferous preparations used during religious rites: (1) Preparations for perfuming rooms and odoriferous preparations used during religious rites. These usually act by evaporation or by burning, e.g., "agarbatti", and may be in the form of liquids, powders, sticks, impregnated paper, etc. Some of these preparations may be used to mask unpleasant odours. Perfumed candles are excluded (heading 3406). (2) Room deodorizers, whether or not perfumed, whether or not having disinfectant properties. Room deodorizers consist mainly of substances (such as lauryl methacrylate) which act chemically on the odours to be suppressed, or of other substances designed to absorb odours physically, for example, by van der Waals forces. When these articles are put up for retail sale, they are usually in aerosol containers. Products such as activated carbon put up in packings for retail sale as deodorizers for use in refrigerators, cars, etc., are also classified in this heading. (V) Other products, such as: (1) Depilatories. (2) Scent sachets (dry perfumes) containing parts of aromatic plants, used to perfume wardrobes. (3) Perfumed papers and those impregnated or coated with cosmetics. (4) Solutions for storing contact lenses or artificial eyes. These may be intended for cleaning, disinfecting, soaking or improving the wearing comfort of the lenses and prostheses. (5) Wadding, felt or fur felt and nonwovens, impregnated, coated or sprayed with perfume or cosmetics. (6) Animal toilet preparations, such as dog shampoos and bird plumage cleaning preparations. (7) Solutions of sodium chloride, put up in packings for retail sale for hygienic purposes, other than medical or pharmaceutical preparations, whether or not sterile.
