3502 11 — Egg albumin, dried "e.g. in sheets, scales, flakes, powder"
Egg albumin, dried "e.g. in sheets, scales, flakes, powder"
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

(1) Albumines are proteins of animal or plant origin. Animal proteins are the most important proteins, these include egg protein (egg albumin), serum albumin (serum albumin), milk albumin (lactalbumin) and fish albumin. Unlike casein, they are soluble in water as in alkalis; when heated, their solutions coagulate. This heading also includes whey protein concentrates containing two or more whey proteins in an amount greater than 80 % by weight on dry matter. The content of whey proteins is calculated by multiplying the nitrogen content by a transfer coefficient of 6.38. Whey protein concentrates containing whey proteins of 80 % or less by weight in terms of dry matter are classified in heading 0404. Albumins usually come in the form of viscous liquids, transparent yellow flakes or amorphous white, reddish or yellowish powders. They are used for the preparation of adhesives, foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, skin finishing, for the treatment of fabrics or paper (especially photographic paper), for the lightening of wine or other beverages, etc. (2) Albuminates (albumin salts) and other albumin derivatives, especially iron albuminate, brominated albumins, iodized albumins and albumin-tannat. This heading also excludes (a) lyophilized blood, sometimes incorrectly referred to as “blood albumin” (heading 0511); (b) precious metal albuminates (heading 2843) or albuminates of headings 2844 to 2846 and 2852;
(c) serum albumin prepared for therapeutic or prophylactic purposes and human blood plasma (Chapter 30).

Notes
English text as published in Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/1832 (Combined Nomenclature). The EAEU tariff and the EU nomenclature copy these notes from the same convention. For a Russian declaration the binding version is the Russian one: Annex to Decision No 80 of the EEC Council of 14 September 2021.
1. This chapter does not cover:
(a) yeasts (heading 2102);
(b) blood fractions (other than blood albumin not prepared for therapeutic or prophylactic uses), medicaments or other products of Chapter 30;
(c) enzymatic preparations for pre-tanning (heading 3202);
(d) enzymatic soaking or washing preparations and other products of Chapter 34;
(e) hardened proteins (heading 3913); or
(f) gelatin products of the printing industry (Chapter 49).
2. For the purposes of heading 3505, the term ‘dextrins’ means starch degradation products with a reducing sugar content, expressed as dextrose on the dry substance, not exceeding 10 %. Such products with a reducing sugar content exceeding 10 % fall in heading 1702.
Additional note
Machine translation. The original is the Russian text of the EAEU tariff, and customs goes by it; this translation is for understanding only and has no legal force.
