4504 10 91 — Tiles of any shape, blocks, plates, sheets and strip, solid cylinders, incl. discs, of agglomerated cork, with a binding substance (excl. corks and stoppers)
Tiles of any shape, blocks, plates, sheets and strip, solid cylinders, incl. discs, of agglomerated cork, with a binding substance (excl. corks and stoppers)
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

4504 Agglomerated cork (with or without a binding substance) and articles of agglomerated cork: 4504 10 – Blocks, plates, sheets and strip; tiles of any shape; solid cylinders, including discs 4504 90 – Other
Agglomerated cork is made by agglomeration of crushed, granular or ground cork, usually at high temperature and under pressure: (1) with the addition of a binder (for example, non-vulcanized rubber, glue, plastic, tar, gelatin); or (2) without the addition of a binder at a temperature of about 300 °C. In the latter case, the natural resin present in the cork acts as a binder. The agglomerated plug of this heading may be impregnated (e.g. with oil) or reinforced with a paper or cloth substrate, provided that it does not have the character of linoleum or similar materials of heading 5904. Agglomerated cork retains most of the properties of natural cork and, in particular, is an excellent heat or sound insulation material. However, in many cases, the addition of binders necessary for agglomeration changes a number of characteristics of the cork, in particular, specific mass and tensile or crushing strength. In addition, agglomerated plug has the following advantage - it is suitable for direct molding to any size or shape. Agglomerated cork is used for the manufacture of the same range of products as listed in heading 4503, but is rarely used for the manufacture of plugs, it is more often used than natural cork for the manufacture of wheels of corks. Agglomerated cork is also widely used and preferred to natural cork in the production of building materials such as panels, blocks and tiles, and as molded products (cylinders, casings, etc.) for insulation or protection of hot pipes in odes, steam lines, lining of oil pipelines, expanding compounds in the construction industry and for the manufacture of filters. Articles not covered by this heading are listed in the Explanatory Note to heading 4503.
