4910 00 — Calendars of any kinds, printed, incl. calendars blocks
Calendars of any kinds, printed, incl. calendars blocks
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

4910 Printed calendars of all kinds, including detachable calendars
This heading covers calendars of any kind printed on paper, cardboard, cloth or any other material, provided that the printed material gives the product its essential property. They may contain, in addition to the usual sequence of dates, days of the week, etc., other diverse information, such as reports of important events, festivals, astronomical and other information, poems and proverbs. They may also contain visual or advertising material. Some publications, sometimes inaccurately called calendars, which, although dated, are published essentially to give information about public or private events, etc., are classified in heading 4901 (unless they fall in heading 4911 as advertising material). This heading also covers “perpetual” calendars or interchangeable blocks fitted on a stand of materials other than paper or cardboard (e.g. wood, plastic or metal). This heading includes calendar blocks. They consist of a certain number of sheets of paper, on each of which the features of a particular day of the year are printed and which are collected in chronological order in the form of a block from which individual sheets are removed every day. These blocks are usually used attached to the base of cardboard or, in the case of annual calendar replacement, to the bases of stronger materials. This heading, however, does not include articles whose essential property is not determined by the presence of a calendar. This heading does not also include:
(a) Notebooks for aide-memoirs containing calendars and diaries (including so-called “to-do calendars”) (heading 4820); (b) printed calendar bases not including calendar blocks (heading 4911).
