Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

Explanatory notes to heading 5107 2 paragraphs
Machine translation from Russian. The original is the EEC explanatory note, and that is what a classification dispute is argued from; the translation is for understanding and has no legal force.
5107 Woolen spinning yarn, not packaged for retail sale: 5107 10 - with a wool content of 85 wt.% or more than 5107 20 - with a wool content of less than 85 wt.%
This heading includes spinning yarn, single-stranded or multi-twisted (twisted), that is, obtained from a straight line of wool subjected to cresting. It is not included in this heading if it is packaged for retail sale (see paragraph (I)(B)(3) of the general provisions of section XI). Spinning yarn differs from hardware spinning yarn in that it is more adorable and has a uniform cross section; the fibers in it are parallel, and short and tangled fibers are removed by combing. Such yarn may be subjected to the treatment referred to in Part (I)(B)(1) of the general provisions of Section XI. This heading does not include wool yarn of hardware spinning obtained from combed wool in segments or yarn known as semi-combed yarn (heading 5106).
