6306 90 — Camping goods of textile materials (excl. tents, awnings and sunblinds, sails, pneumatic mattresses, rucksacks, knapsacks and similar receptacles, filled sleeping bags, mattresses and cushions)
Camping goods of textile materials (excl. tents, awnings and sunblinds, sails, pneumatic mattresses, rucksacks, knapsacks and similar receptacles, filled sleeping bags, mattresses and cushions)
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

This heading covers a number of textile articles generally made of strong, dense sailboats. (1) Canvases. Usually used to protect against bad weather goods stored in the open air or loaded on ships, wagons, trucks, etc. They are usually made from chemical threads, coated or uncoated, or from heavy or rather heavy canvas (from hemp, jute, linen or cotton). They're waterproof. Canvas tarpaulins are usually treated with resin or chemicals to make them waterproof or to prevent rotting. They are usually rectangular in shape with cut edges and can be provided with eyes, cords, slats, etc. Scheduled tarpaulins (e.g. for haystacks, decks of small ships, lorries, etc.) are also included in this heading provided they are flat. Canvases are not to be confused either with covers for motor vehicles, machinery, etc., made of tarpaulin in the shape of these machines, or with flat protective coverings of light material, made in the same way as tarpaulins (heading 6307). (2) Sails (for yachts, boats, fishing smacks or other vessels, for windsurfing boards or land vehicles). They are made of durable textile materials (e.g., high-strength chemical threads) cut in shape and chopped, and are usually fitted with eyes or other fasteners. (3) Sheds and marquises (for shops, cafes, etc.). They are designed to protect against the sun; they are usually made of durable monochrome or striped cloth and can be mounted on rollers or mechanisms for folding them. They are included in this heading even when they are strung on frames, as is the case with the Marquis. (4) Tents are shelters for which fabrics ranging from light to fairly heavy of chemical threads, cotton or mixed textile materials, coated or uncoated, duplicated or undoubled, or fabrics are used. They usually have a single or double roof and sides or walls (single or double), allowing the tent to be closed. This heading covers tents of different sizes and shapes, i.e. tents, military tents, campsites (including backpack tents), circuses and beaches. They are included in this heading regardless of
whether or not they are fitted with poles, pegs, guy ropes or other accessories. Caravan "awnings" (also known as caravan annexes) are similar in structure to tents and are therefore regarded as tents. The fabrics for them are generally of man-made fibres or of fairly heavy canvas. They consist of three walls and a roof and are designed to increase the living space of a caravan. The heading excludes umbrella tents of heading 6601. (5) Camping goods. These include canvas water buckets, water bags, washing basins; ground sheets; pneumatic mattresses and cushions (other than those of heading 4016); hammocks (other than those of heading 5608). The heading also excludes: (a) Knapsacks, rucksacks and similar articles (heading 4202); (b) Quilted sleeping bags and stuffed mattresses and cushions (heading 9404); (c) Play tents used by children indoors or outdoors (heading 9503).
