6507 00 — Headbands, linings, covers, hat foundations, hat frames, peaks and chinstraps, for headgear (excl. headbands used by sportsmen as sweatbands, knitted or crocheted)
Headbands, linings, covers, hat foundations, hat frames, peaks and chinstraps, for headgear (excl. headbands used by sportsmen as sweatbands, knitted or crocheted)
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.
Machine translation. The original is the Russian text of the EAEU tariff, and customs goes by it; this translation is for understanding only and has no legal force.

6507 Tapes, linings, covers, bases, frames, visors and braces for hats
This heading covers only the following accessories for headgear: (1) Head-bands for fixing to the inside of the edge of the crown. Such bands are usually of leather, but they may also be of composition leather, oilcloth or other coated material. They fall in this heading only if cut to length or otherwise prepared for use in the manufacture of headgear. Such bands often bear the hatter's name, etc. (2) Linings and parts of linings, usually of textile material and also, in some cases, of plastics, leather, etc. They may also bear the hatter's name and other particulars. It should be noted that labels, such as those intended to be fixed to the inside of the crown of a hat, etc., are excluded from this heading. (3) Covers, usually of textile material or plastics. (4) Hat foundations; such foundations may consist of stiff non-creasing fabric (e.g., buckram, canvas interlining), paperboard, papier-mâché, cork, vegetable material, metal, etc. (5) Hat frames, e.g., wire frames (sometimes covered with textile or other material) and spring frames for opera hats. (6) Peaks (e.g., for uniform or other caps). Peaks designed mainly to protect the eyes are treated as headgear only if they are attached to some part of the headgear (the crown). Otherwise, peaks are classified according to their constituent material. (7) Ties; narrow strips or bands (including plaited bands) of leather, textile material, plastics, etc. They are usually made so that their length can be adjusted. They may also serve as a decorative trimming for the hat. Chin-straps fall in this heading only if they are ready for attachment to the headgear.
