7307 92 — Threaded elbows, bends and sleeves, of stainless steel (excl. cast or stainless products)
Threaded elbows, bends and sleeves, of stainless steel (excl. cast or stainless products)
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

7307 Tube or pipe fittings (for example, couplings, elbows, sleeves), of iron or steel: – cast fittings: 7307 11 – – of non-malleable cast iron 7307 19 – – other – other, of stainless steel: 7307 21 – – flanges 7307 22 – – threaded elbows, bends and sleeves 7307 23 – – butt welding fittings 7307 29 – – other – other: 7307 91 – – flanges 7307 92 – – threaded elbows, bends and sleeves 7307 93 – – butt welding fittings 7307 99 – – other
This heading covers fittings of iron or steel, used mainly for connecting two pipes together, or for connecting a pipe to some other apparatus, or for plugging a pipe. However, the heading excludes articles which are used for installing tubes and pipes but which do not form an integral part of them (e.g., hangers, stays and similar supports which merely fix or support tubes and pipes on walls, clamping rings or collars (hose clips) used to clamp flexible tubing or hose to rigid pipes, taps, connectors, etc.) (heading 7325 or 7326). The connection is achieved: – by screwing, when threaded fittings of iron or steel are used; – or by welding, when butt-welding or socket-welding steel fittings are used. In the case of butt-welding, the ends of the fittings and of the pipes must be squared or bevelled; – or by contact, when removable steel fittings are used. The heading therefore covers flat flanges and collared flanges, elbows, bends and return bends, reducers, tees, crosses, caps and plugs, unions, fittings for tubular railings and building elements, lateral branches, junctions, couplings or spigots, cleaning eyes, nipples, sleeves, clamps and clips. The heading excludes: (a) Clamps and other devices specially designed for assembling parts of structures (heading 7308). (b) Bolts, nuts, screws, etc., suitable for use in assembling tube or pipe fittings (heading 7318). (c) Thermostatic bellows and expansion joints (heading 8307). (d) Hangers, stays and similar supports described above, and pipe rests, threaded or not, fitted with a ring, hook, etc. (e.g., those used for fixing washing lines) (heading 7326). (e) Fittings incorporating taps, cocks, valves, etc. (heading 8481). (f) Insulating joints for electrical conduit tubing (heading 8547). (g) Connecting pieces for assembling bicycle or motorcycle frames (heading 8714).

Notes
English text as published in Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/1832 (Combined Nomenclature). The EAEU tariff and the EU nomenclature copy these notes from the same convention. For a Russian declaration the binding version is the Russian one: Annex to Decision No 80 of the EEC Council of 14 September 2021.
1. In this chapter, the expression ‘cast iron’ applies to products obtained by casting in which iron predominates by weight over each of the other elements and which do not comply with the chemical composition of steel as defined in note 1(d) to Chapter 72.
2. In this chapter, the word ‘wire’ means hot- or cold-formed products of any cross-sectional shape, of which no cross-sectional dimension exceeds 16 mm.

1. Drilling pipes are used for descent into a borehole and lifting a rock-destroying tool, transferring rotation, creating an axial load on the tool, supplying a washing fluid or compressed air to the bottom. There are ordinary, weighted and leading drill pipes.
Ordinary drill pipes (heading 7304) - usually one-piece round cross-section, are connected by means of drill locks or semi-locks with special large conical threads.
Weighted drill pipes (heading 8431) are usually round or square cross-sections with an increased wall thickness; they are also connected by thread and serve to increase the stiffness of the lower part of the column and to place a load on the rock-destroying tool.
Leading drill pipes (heading 8431) - multifaceted cross-section, are placed at the top of the column of drill pipes and transmit it rotation from the rotator of the drilling rig.
