7321 90 — Parts of domestic appliances non-electrically heated of heading 7321, n.e.s.

Parts of domestic appliances non-electrically heated of heading 7321, n.e.s.

Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

7321 Heating stoves, heating and cooking ranges and cookers (including those with subsidiary boilers for central heating), deep fryers, braziers, gas-rings, food warmers and similar non-electric domestic appliances, and parts thereof, of iron or steel: – cooking appliances and food warmers: 7321 11 – – for gas fuel only or for both gas and other fuels 7321 12 – – for liquid fuel 7321 19 – – other, including appliances for solid fuel – other appliances: 7321 81 – – for gas fuel only or for both gas and other fuels 7321 82 – – for liquid fuel 7321 89 – – other, including appliances for solid fuel 7321 90 – parts

This heading includes a number of appliances which satisfy all the following requirements: (i) intended for the production and use of heat for the purpose of heating space, preparing food or bringing it to a boiling point;

(ii) use solid, liquid or gaseous fuel or another source of energy (e.g., solar energy), but not electricity; (iii) be used in the household or for camping. These appliances are identified by their type and by one or more characteristics such as overall dimensions, construction, maximum heat output, capacity of the firebox or furnace in the case of solid fuel, size of the tank in the case of liquid fuel. The criterion for assessing these characteristics of the appliances concerned is that they must not operate at a level exceeding household requirements. The heading covers: (1) Heating stoves, heaters, grates and fireplaces of the kind used for space heating, as braziers, etc. (2) Gas and oil radiators incorporating heating elements for performing similar tasks. (3) Kitchen ranges, stoves and cookers. (4) Ovens incorporating heating elements (e.g., for roasting, baking bread and pastry). (5) Spirit or flame stoves, camp stoves, travelling stoves, etc.; gas-rings; plate warmers incorporating heating elements. (6) Boilers for heating water, with fireboxes or other heating elements. The heading also covers stoves with subsidiary boilers for central heating. However, the heading excludes appliances in which electrical energy is also used simultaneously for heating, as, for example, where cookers are equipped with combined gas-electric hobs (heading 8516). All these articles may be enamelled, nickel-plated, copper-plated, etc., fitted with accessories of other base metals or lined with refractory materials. The heading also covers articles of iron or steel identifiable as parts of the above appliances (e.g., oven shelves, baking trays and grids, ash-pans, fire-boxes, gas burners, oil burners, doors, grills, legs, hand-rails, towel holders and plate racks). The heading also excludes: (a) Central heating radiators, air heaters or hot air distributors, and parts thereof, of heading 7322. (b) Ovens and boilers not suitable for being fitted with heating elements (heading 7323). (c) Blow lamps and portable forges (heading 8205). (d) Furnace burners (heading 8416). (e) Industrial or laboratory furnaces and ovens of heading 8417. (f) Machinery and plant for heating, cooking, roasting, distilling, etc., and similar laboratory equipment of heading 8419. The same heading covers, inter alia: (i) Non-electric instantaneous or storage water heaters (whether or not for domestic use);

(ii) certain specialized appliances for heating, cooking, etc., which are not normally used in the household (e.g. anti-current coffee makers; deep fryers; sterilizers, drying cabinets, chambers and other devices with steam or indirect heating, often including heating coils, double walls, double bottoms, etc.); (g) electrothermal appliances of heading 8516.

Notes

English text as published in Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/1832 (Combined Nomenclature). The EAEU tariff and the EU nomenclature copy these notes from the same convention. For a Russian declaration the binding version is the Russian one: Annex to Decision No 80 of the EEC Council of 14 September 2021.

1. In this chapter, the expression ‘cast iron’ applies to products obtained by casting in which iron predominates by weight over each of the other elements and which do not comply with the chemical composition of steel as defined in note 1(d) to Chapter 72.

2. In this chapter, the word ‘wire’ means hot- or cold-formed products of any cross-sectional shape, of which no cross-sectional dimension exceeds 16 mm.

1. Drilling pipes are used for descent into a borehole and lifting a rock-destroying tool, transferring rotation, creating an axial load on the tool, supplying a washing fluid or compressed air to the bottom. There are ordinary, weighted and leading drill pipes.

Ordinary drill pipes (heading 7304) - usually one-piece round cross-section, are connected by means of drill locks or semi-locks with special large conical threads.

Weighted drill pipes (heading 8431) are usually round or square cross-sections with an increased wall thickness; they are also connected by thread and serve to increase the stiffness of the lower part of the column and to place a load on the rock-destroying tool.

Leading drill pipes (heading 8431) - multifaceted cross-section, are placed at the top of the column of drill pipes and transmit it rotation from the rotator of the drilling rig.
