7507 20 — Tube or pipe fittings, of nickel
Tube or pipe fittings, of nickel
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

7507 Pipes, tubes and fittings for them (for example, clutches, knees, flanges) nickel: - pipes and tubes: 7507 11 - of nickel unalloyed
7507 12 - Nickel alloys 7507 20 - fittings for pipes or tubes
The definition of “pipe and tube” is given in note 1 (e) to this chapter. The provisions of the Explanatory Note to headings 7304 to 7307 are applicable, mutatis mutandis, to this heading. Due to the high corrosion resistance (when exposed to acids, steam, etc.), pipes, tubes and fittings made of nickel or its alloys are used in equipment for chemical, food, paper and other industries, in the production of steam capacitors, needles for injection, etc. This heading does not cover: (a) hollow profiles (heading 7505); (b) nickel bolts and nuts used for the assembly or fastening of pipes, etc. (heading 7508); (c) fittings with valves, taps, valves, etc. (heading 8481); (d) pipes, tubes and fittings made in the form of specific identifiable articles, for example, parts of machinery (section XVI).

(i) the cobalt content is not more than 1.5 % by weight; and
(ii) the content of each of the other elements does not exceed the limits set out in the following table:
Other elements

(b) “nickel alloys” means metal alloys in which the nickel content by mass exceeds that of each of the other elements, provided that:
(i) the cobalt content is greater than 1.5 % by weight;
(ii) the mass content of at least one of the other elements must be greater than the limit value shown in the table; or
(iii) the total content of elements other than nickel and cobalt is more than 1% by weight.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Note 9(c) to Section XV, for the purposes of subheading 7508 (10), the term “wire” means only articles rolled up or not rolled into coves and with any shape of cross-section not exceeding 6 mm.
