Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

9304 Other weapons (e.g. spring, air or gas guns and pistols, batons) other than those specified in heading 9307
This heading covers arms other than the firearms of headings 9301 to 9303 and the arms of heading 9307. The heading includes: (1) Truncheons, lead-loaded canes, weighted sticks and similar articles intended for the police or militia, and also weighted walking-sticks. (2) Knuckle-dusters, being metal articles shaped to fit the clenched fist, used for striking a blow. (3) Catapults designed for shooting birds or vermin. They may be made in the form of a walking-stick. Toy catapults are excluded (heading 9503). (4) Air guns, air rifles and air pistols. These resemble ordinary rifles, pistols, etc., but are fitted with a device for compressing a charge of air which is released into the barrel of the weapon when the trigger is pulled, thereby firing the projectile. Also included are guns, rifles and pistols operating on the same principle but in which a gas other than air is used in its place. (5) Similar weapons operated by the release of a powerful spring mechanism. (6) Guns and pistols operated by compressed carbon dioxide gas, designed to fire at unrestrained animals an automatic syringe containing an anaesthetic or a medicament (antiserum, vaccine, etc.). (7) Tear gas canisters.
