Cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible vegetables of the genus Brassica, fresh or chilled: other: white cabbages and red cabbages: other

Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

Machine translation. The original is the Russian text of the EAEU tariff, and customs goes by it; this translation is for understanding only and has no legal force.

Duty rate
13%

This is the base rate. A tariff quota, a preference for the country of origin and a tariff exemption lower it; anti-dumping and special duties are paid on top of it

EEC Council Decision No. 80 of 14.09.2021

Supplementary unit
Not applicable
Requirements and measures
3

None: conformity assessment, dual use, EAEU non-tariff regulation, trade defence measures — duty on top of the tariff.

Whether a measure applies to your goods depends on their characteristics and the shipping documents

VAT
22% or 10%

10% if the product matches the line of List No. 908: “Капуста кочанная, капуста цветная, кольраби, капуста листовая и аналогичные съедобные…”. Otherwise 22%.

Notes

English text as published in Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/1832 (Combined Nomenclature). The EAEU tariff and the EU nomenclature copy these notes from the same convention. 2. In headings 0709 to 0712, the word ‘vegetables’ includes edible mushrooms, truffles, olives, capers, marrows, pumpkins, aubergines, sweetcorn (Zea mays var. saccharata), fruits of the genus Capsicum or of the genus Pimenta, fennel, parsley, chervil, tarragon, cress and sweet marjoram (Majorana hortensis or Origanum majorana).

3. Heading 0712 covers all dried vegetables of the kinds falling in headings 0701 to 0711, other than:

(a) dried leguminous vegetables, shelled (heading 0713);

(b) sweetcorn in the forms specified in headings 1102 to 1104;

(c) flour, meal, powder, flakes, granules and pellets of potatoes (heading 1105);

(d) flour, meal and powder of the dried leguminous vegetables of heading 0713 (heading 1106).

4. However, dried or crushed or ground fruits of the genus Capsicum or of the genus Pimenta are excluded from this chapter (heading 0904).

5. Heading 0711 applies to vegetables which have been treated solely to ensure their provisional preservation during transport or storage prior to use (for example, by sulphur dioxide gas, in brine, in sulphur water or in other preservative solutions), provided they remain unsuitable for immediate consumption in that state.
