7907 00 — Articles of zinc, n.e.s.
Articles of zinc, n.e.s.
Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

7907 Other zinc articles
This heading covers all articles of zinc, other than those falling within the preceding headings of this Chapter or those referred to in
Note 1 to Section XV, or articles specified or included in Chapter 82 or 83, or more specifically covered elsewhere in the Nomenclature. This heading covers, inter alia: (1) Reservoirs, tanks, vats and similar containers, not fitted with mechanical or thermal equipment. (2) Tubular containers for packing pharmaceutical products, etc. (3) Cloth, grill and netting of zinc wire, and expanded metal. (4) Zinc nails, tacks, nuts, bolts, screws and other articles of the types described in the Explanatory Notes to headings 7317 and 7318. (5) Household or sanitary articles, such as, for example, buckets, pails, sinks, baths, basins, watering cans, shower fittings, washboards and jugs. (Many of these articles are most often made of galvanised iron or steel, and they are then excluded from this heading – headings 7323 and 7324.) (6) Zinc "labels" (for trees, plants, etc.) without letters, numerals or pictures, or bearing only particulars of a secondary nature incidental to the main information which is to be added later. "Labels" bearing the main information fall in heading 8310. (7) Stencil plates. (8) Roofing tile hooks and other miscellaneous zinc articles corresponding to the iron or steel goods listed in the Explanatory Notes to headings 7325 and 7326. (9) Anodes for electroplating (see Item (A) of the Explanatory Note to heading 7508). (10) Anodes for cathodic protection (sacrificial anodes), used for protecting pipelines, tankers, etc. against corrosion. (11) Gutters, roof capping, skylight frames, rain-water heads, window or door frames, balustrades, fencing, greenhouse frames and other prefabricated building components corresponding to the iron or steel articles referred to in the Explanatory Note to heading 7308. (12) Tubes and pipes, as defined in Note 1 (e) to this Chapter, and tube or pipe fittings (e.g., couplings, elbows, flanges), of zinc (other than hollow profiles (heading 79 04), fittings with taps, cocks, valves, etc. (heading 8481) and tubes and pipes made up into specific identifiable articles, such as machinery parts (Section XVI)). These articles correspond to the iron or steel goods listed in the Explanatory Notes to headings 7304 to 7307.

1. The terms used in this chapter mean:
(a) "non-alloyed zinc" means a metal containing at least 97.5 wt.% zinc.
(b) “zinc alloys” means metal alloys in which the mass content of zinc exceeds the mass content of each other element contained in the alloy, but the total content of all other elements is more than 2.5 % by weight.
(c) “zinc dust” means dust produced by condensation of zinc vapor and consisting of spherical particles smaller than particles of zinc powders. At least 80 wt.% of zinc dust particles pass through a sieve with cells of 63 μm (micron). Zinc dust must contain at least 85% by weight of zinc metal.
