Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.
Machine translation. The original is the Russian text of the EAEU tariff, and customs goes by it; this translation is for understanding only and has no legal force.
This is the base rate. A tariff quota, a preference for the country of origin and a tariff exemption lower it; anti-dumping and special duties are paid on top of it
EEC Council Decision No. 80 of 14.09.2021
None: dual use, EAEU non-tariff regulation, trade defence measures — duty on top of the tariff, tariff quota.

Machine translation from Russian. The original is the EEC explanatory note, and that is what a classification dispute is argued from; the translation is for understanding and has no legal force.
8420 Calendars or other rolling machines, other than metal or glass processing machines, and rollers therefor: 8420 10 – calenders or other rolling machines – parts: 8420 91 – rollers 8420 99 – other
Except for metal-rolling or metal-working machines of heading 8455, 8462 or 8463 and glass-working machines of heading 8475, this heading covers calenders or other rolling machines, whether or not specially designed for a particular industry. Such machines generally consist of two or more parallel rotating rolls or cylinders, the surfaces of which are more or less in contact, for carrying out the operations indicated below either by the pressure of the rolls alone or by pressure combined with friction, heating or the action of moisture: (1) Rolling into sheets of material (including in the manufacture of bread, confectionery, biscuits, etc., the preparation of dough, chocolate, rubber, etc.) fed to the rolls in a plastic state.
(2) Certain surface treatment of sheet material (other than metal or glass) passed between the rolls, e.g., smoothing (including ironing), glazing, glossing, polishing, embossing or graining. (3) Finishing or coating. (4) Laminating fabrics. Machines of this type are used in various industries (e.g., in the manufacture of paper, textile materials, leather, linoleum, plastics or rubber). In some industries calenders are known by other names (e.g., ironing machines in laundries, finishing mangles in the textile industry or supercalenders in the paper industry), but they fall in this heading irrespective of their name. Calenders are often auxiliary units of other machines (e.g., paper-making machines). Where calenders are presented together with those other machines, they are classified in accordance with Notes 3 and 4 to Section XVI. However, calenders which merely incorporate auxiliary devices, such as impregnating baths or rolls, winding or cutting devices, fall in this heading. This heading also covers smoothing or ironing machines of the calender type, whether or not designed for domestic use. PARTS Subject to the general provisions regarding the classification of parts (see the General Explanatory Note to Section XVI), parts of the machines of this heading are also classified here. They include rolls clearly designed for use in the calendering or rolling machines of this heading. These rolls may be made of metal, wood or other suitable material (e.g., compressed paper). The rolls may be of various lengths and diameters, they may also be solid or hollow and, depending on their particular purpose, their surface may be polished, fluted, grained or may bear an engraved pattern. The rolls may be covered with other materials (e.g., leather, fabric or rubber). Metal rolls are usually designed so that they can be heated internally by steam, gas, etc. The set for a particular calender may comprise an assortment of different rolls. This heading excludes machines which, despite a certain resemblance to calenders or rolling machines, do not serve the purpose described above. For example: (a) cylinder drying machines for textiles, paper, etc. (heading 8419 or 8451); (b) presses for wine-making or cider-making, etc. (heading 8435); (c) roller grain crushers or grinders (heading 8436, 8474 or 8479); (d) roller mills for the milling industry (heading 8437); (e) wringers for laundries (heading 8451); (f) rolling mills (heading 8455); (g) straightening machines for sheet metal (heading 8462) and embossing machines for sheet metal (heading 8463);
(h) machines for the manufacture of sheet or other flat glass by rolling, and calenders for the treatment of glass (heading 8475).

The section is designed to apply water-based adhesives to various materials.
Full descriptionCollapse description
Delivered unassembled.
Principle of operation: with the help of the unwinder, the material-base is moved to the bilateral coronation node, where an electric field is created due to the coronary discharge, which activates the surface of the material and increases the surface tension necessary to improve the quality of the coating. Then, with the help of an application shaft and a knife shaft, an acrylic dispersion is applied at the adhesive coating installation, after which the material with an acrylic layer is dried and moistened, laminated with an anti-adhesive material and further, the resulting unilateral self-adhesive material is either coiled and moved to the finished product warehouse, or moved to the next technological stage.
To obtain a double-sided self-adhesive material, the application of adhesive coating is carried out on a double-sided anti-adhesive material, which is associated with the features of drying the final product. Two-sided anti-adhesive material after applying an acrylic coating with an open adhesive layer is fed simultaneously with the material - the basis in the cooling and lamination unit, where the materials are combined and the subsequent winding of the semi-finished product into a roll. Then, at the cooling and lamination unit, the semi-finished product is connected to a previously manufactured unilateral anti-adhesive material with an open acrylic coating, where the open adhesive layer is closed with a material - a base with a closed first adhesive layer.
At the final technological stage, the finished product is delineated by removing the unilateral anti-adhesion material. Main characteristics: anti-adhesion material: calendered paper based on cellulose with silicone coating, PET; materials for lamination: PET, fabric and non-woven materials, PE foams; coating width 1300 mm, shaft width 1450 mm.

The equipment is designed to apply protective coatings and adhesive compositions (liquid coating) to films made of polyethylene terephthalate and polyvinyl chloride, used in the future in printing production.
Full descriptionCollapse description
Protective coatings and adhesive compositions are applied to the film when it passes between the shafts, by connecting the liquid coating with the film through pressure and adhesion. The equipment consists of the following main components: a single-shaft unwinder, a pull assembly, a deep-print section (1,2,3), a drying tunnel, a drive-driven cooling roller, an automatic flattening system, a central winder, a single-shaft unwinder, a control system.
Principle of operation: a roll with a film is installed on a unwinder with one shaft, which feeds the film. The hood unit synchronizes the feed of the film with the work of the deep printing sections. In the sections of deep printing (1,2,3) the liquid coating is applied to the film. The film moves between the application shaft (engraved cylinder) and a pressurized rubber shaft that presses the film against the application shaft. A liquid coating is applied to the application shaft. During contact, the liquid coating is transferred from the application shaft to the base film.
Excess liquid coating from the film is removed using a racket knife. The transfer of the liquid coating from the application shaft (engraved cylinder) to the film is not the formation of text or image. Each section of deep printing is equipped with UV lamps with cooling shafts. The choice of the number of sections involved in coating depends on the required number of coatings (one-two or three-layer coating). Next, the film with the coatings applied enters the drying tunnel. After passing through the drying tunnel, the film falls on a cooling roller with a long drive.
Then the film is fed to the section of automatic alignment of the canvas, the mechanism of which aligns the film and ensures its transmission to the central winder. If necessary, the film enters the lamination zone. The use of equipment in the mode of coating without lamination is provided. Lamination of the film without coating is not provided. Main technical parameters: power supply 400 V 3F; installed power 610 kW; compressed air supply 6-8 bar; maximum operating speed 150 m / min.

The automatic high-speed line is designed for the production of disposable absorbent diapers for medical and domestic needs (caring for babies, bedridden patients, pets).
Full descriptionCollapse description
The line is a complex of technological equipment, combined into a single design and consisting of the following main components: section of unwinding and feeding raw materials (pulp unwinding frames with pneumatic shafts and servo actuators - 2 pcs., frames for unwinding raw materials with pneumatic shafts and servo drives - 2 pcs; node for the formation of the absorbent layer (high-speed fiber-plate type, SAP dispenser (super absorber), drum wheel; section of assembly and lamination (glue applicators - 3 pcs., embossing absorption fan - 3 pcs; final assembly unit (main rotational knife, longitudinal addition mechanism, transverse assembly, automatic stower); control and control system (control box - 5 units, HMI-panel, visual control system; auxiliary equipment (compressed air supply system, automatic high-speed packaging machine, semi-automatic packaging in cardboard boxes, dust collector, service platform with stairs, metal detector, laser printer for printing date.
Principle of operation: cellulose in rolls from the rack of the cellulose unwinding frame driven by the engine is automatically fed into the pellet-type opener. The drum wheel forms a cellulose core, the PAP is fed from the dispenser, distributed in the chamber, cavity mixing with cellulose. Dust is removed by a dust collector aspiration system. Compressed air is supplied by a compressor. From the frames for rolls of unwinding raw materials, the upper and lower napkins are served, into which the absorbent core is wrapped.
The core is compressed, embossed with a heated roller. Next, the upper layer of nonwoven material (topshit), the lower polyethylene film (backshit), which are connected to the absorbent core using heat-melting glue supplied by applicators, is supplied. Then adhesive paper is applied. After that, the material is pressed using three clamping shafts, folded longitudinally by the mechanism of longitudinal addition, horizontally cut off by the main rotary knife and divided into separate products that fold transversely three times.
The finished product is fed along the conveyor to an automatic stacker connected to the packaging machine. The number of finished products specified by the control system is packaged in packages. On the packaging site there is a laser printer for printing dates and a metal detector. Finished sealed packages go along the conveyor for further processing by the operator and packaging into cardboard boxes. The diapers are produced in three layers and in five layers. The line is delivered in disassembled form. The main technical parameters: the minimum size of the diaper (DhS) is 500×450 mm, the maximum size (DhS) is 800×2000 mm, the installed capacity is 330 kW, 380 V, 50 Hz, the design speed is 500 pcs / min, the dimensions of the line (DhShV) are 46×11×4 m.
