Names come in English where the EU Combined Nomenclature publishes them — chapters, headings and subheadings, whose first six digits are the same Harmonized System; deeper EAEU detail is a machine translation, marked as such. Official texts — tariff notes, measures, lists and classification rulings — are the original: customs and your broker go by that wording. Where we show a machine translation of them, it is marked; where our quality check rejected one, the Russian stays.

This heading covers a wide range of machinery used for the functions indicated below: (I) For washing, bleaching, wringing, cleaning, ironing, dyeing, drying or similar operations on textile yarns, fabrics or made up textile articles, but excluding household or laundry-type washing machines (heading 8450). (II) For dressing or finishing yarn or fabric after spinning or weaving respectively, to impart certain properties or to improve the appearance (e.g., shearing, fulling, glazing) or to impart special new qualities (e.g., by impregnation or coating), but excluding machines for finishing felt or fur felt (heading 8449). (III) For reeling, unreeling, folding, cutting or piercing textile fabrics. Many of the machines and appliances of this heading consist simply of baths, tanks, vats or other vessels fitted with simple mechanical devices such as rollers for feeding the yarn or fabric or for squeezing out surplus moisture, agitating paddles, etc. Such equipment is used for various washing, bleaching, dyeing, cleaning, etc., operations or for finishing operations involving coating or impregnation (e.g., with size or with preparations for rendering waterproof, crease-resistant, fire-resistant, moth-proof, rot-proof, etc.). For equipment to be classified in this heading, it must have the mechanical features referred to above and must be clearly intended for the treatment of textile materials. (A) WASHING, WRINGING, IRONING OR PRESSING MACHINES, WITH OR WITHOUT HEATING DEVICES This category includes:

(1) Industrial washing or scouring machines, other than the washing machines of heading 8450, for yarn or fabrics or made up textile articles. The heading includes, for example, tunnel washing machines through which hanks of yarn pass to be successively washed by jets and dried, and batch-type festoon washing machines for textile articles. The heading covers industrial washing machines used in the process of manufacturing fabrics and textiles, the equipment of which is used for finishing or desizing the articles produced. (2) Wringing machines and mangles. (3) Vibratory and shaking machines, used in laundries for disentangling damp articles and spreading them out for ironing. (4) Ironing machines and steam presses for garments (including fusing presses), but excluding calendering-type ironing machines for domestic or other use, of heading 8420.

(B) WHITE OR DRESSING MACHINES These include jay boxes used in bleaching or other liquid finishing operations; they consist mainly of a vertically arranged two-sleeved J-shaped bath equipped with internal steam nozzles and rollers to feed the cloth. The fabric, pre-impregnated, when passing through the bath with a bleaching solution, enters a longer sleeve, where it is in the time required to ensure whitening, after which it comes out of the shorter sleeve. Other machines of this category are mainly machines of the type of bathtubs already mentioned earlier, which are adapted for the processing of certain types of textile products (for example, yarn in rolls or tangles, or on reels, etc., pieces of canvas or articles). This category also includes machines for dyeing or appreting piece textiles in a straightened state; a necessary feature of such machines is the presence of a number of rollers for pressing excess moisture. (C) Machines for dry cleaning These machines clean with solvents such as gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, etc., instead of water. They are usually complex machines, including, for example, washing devices for circulating fluid through processed products, centrifugal extractors, filters, cleaners and liquid storage tanks. Due to the flammability of many liquids used, these machines usually have an electric motor to drive the washing device and the circulating pump in an explosion-proof design. (D) Drying machines are classified in this heading only if they are designed specifically for drying textile yarn, fabrics or articles. These machines are represented by two main types: machines consisting mainly of a closed chamber in which products are exposed to hot air, and machines in which fabrics pass through heated rollers.

The heading excludes driers which are not designed for treating textile articles (heading 8419), and centrifugal driers (heading 8421). (E) DRESSING OR FINISHING MACHINES This category includes: (1) Mercerising machines, in which the yarn or fabric is treated with a solution of caustic soda. (2) Beetling machines, in which rows of hammers with wooden or cast-steel heads, mounted spirally on a shaft, compact the fabric by pounding; they reduce the spaces between the threads of the fabric and improve its lustre. (3) Rotary fulling machines. These machines compact the warp and weft threads of the fabric and produce a partial felting effect on the surface. Hammer machines, used mainly in the manufacture of felt or fur felt, are excluded from this heading (heading 8449). (4) Burling machines used for removing defects or burr particles remaining in the fabric. (5) Raising machines used for raising a nap on the surface of the fabric. Such machines consist essentially of a large drum fitted with bars or frames in which teasels are mounted, or of smaller drums covered with fine needles. (6) Machines for beating the reverse side of the fabric in order to raise a nap on its surface. (7) Shearing machines for levelling the height of the nap after raising; similar machines are used in finishing velvet. A patterned effect may be obtained by using notched supporting plates or rollers. (8) Ratining machines or ribbed-fabric machines, used for creating waves or ribs on napped fabric by rolling and twisting tufts of fibres. They consist of a plush-covered table above which another table (covered with rubber, felt or emery cloth) oscillates with a small amplitude and rotates. (9) Brushing machines, containing rotating cylindrical brushes for cleaning the fabric after raising or shearing. (10) Singeing machines for removing fuzz from yarn or fabric. This is achieved by passing the fabric rapidly over heated cylinders or curved plates, or over gas burners. (11) Machines for polishing or glazing cords, and for polishing silk yarn in hanks or silk fabric. (12) Emerizing machines for obtaining a smooth and even fabric surface. (13) Cylinder presses working on a flat or semicircular bed, for imparting a surface lustre or gloss. Calenders (heading 84 20) and general-purpose hydraulic presses (heading 8479) are also used for this purpose. (14) Decatising machines, in which the fabric is treated with steam in order to shrink it and fix the final finish; similar machines for conditioning yarn or fabric by steaming.

(15) Shifting machines for fabric alignment in width. (16) Shrinking machines, which provide a denser arrangement of the duck threads to obtain a denser structure of tissue, which thereafter is little susceptible to shrinkage. (17) Machines for coating or impregnation, ensuring the application of special surface coatings on yarn or cloth or impregnating them with special preparations (for example, resins, starch, mud, waxes, plastics, rubber or waterproof preparations). This heading covers machines for coating fabrics, cardboard, etc., in the manufacture of floor coverings such as linoleum, as well as apprette machines described in (B) above. (18) Machines for the manufacture of shaped yarn, in which special effects are obtained after spinning and rotting yarn (for example, machines for decorating yarn with small drops of gelatin or wax).

(F) MACHINES FOR REELING, UNREELING, FOLDING, CUTTING OR PINKING FABRICS This category includes: (1) Folding or rolling machines, which fold the fabric lengthwise or widthwise or wind it on a roller; and also inspection machines incorporating folding or winding devices, for checking fabrics for defects. Any of these machines may be combined with measuring equipment. (2) Machines for cutting or pinking fabrics, including machines for cutting out patterns or garment parts, etc. This heading also covers the following equipment: (1) Steaming apparatus (steam-air dummies, busts for steam pressing) for outer garments. (2) Equipment and apparatus (tables, etc.) for folding ironed articles (e.g., handkerchiefs, sheets, tablecloths). (3) Machines and equipment for boiling and washing woollen fabrics to clean them before bleaching or dyeing. (4) Machines for desizing fabrics before bleaching or dyeing. (5) * Machines for treating fabrics with sodium or potassium lye before bleaching or dyeing. (6) Steaming machines for damping yarn, fabric and other textile articles. (7) Forming and stabilising machines (heat-setting), including forming and finishing machines for treating socks or stockings. (8) Machines for impregnating and stretching fabrics for pneumatic tyres. (9) Machines for impregnating textile ribbons for typewriters and similar articles with ink paste.

(10) Machines for removing finishing preparations from fabrics. (11) Tissue flocculating machines (e.g. electrostatic flocating machines). (12) Plipping machines for fabrics. (13) Devices for cleaning carpets where they are located by injecting liquid cleaning agent into the carpet and then extracting it by suction, intended for use in establishments (other than residential areas) such as hotels, motels, hospitals, offices, restaurants and schools. Subject to the general provisions concerning the classification of parts (see the general provisions of Section XVI), this heading also includes parts for machinery and equipment of the heading. This heading also excludes: (a) autoclaves enclosed in a steam jacket of tanks and other heating appliances which cannot be identified as being intended for the heat treatment of textile materials (heading 8419); (b) calenders (for glossing, ravine, ironing, embossing, moire effect, etc.) and their shafts (heading 8420); (c) centrifugal dryers and other centrifuges (heading 8421).

Tumblr is a machine designed for finishing textile materials by tambling in order to soften the canvas, give the canvas volume, relief, maximum shrinkage, maintaining the geometric structure and width of the canvas throughout the length.

Full description

The machine consists of the following main components: automatic centering system; double-shaft addition - 2 pieces; chemical dosing station, including two containers of 300 liters for solutions one for each plus; the field of entry of fabric into the chambers; heat treatment chambers with five passages (levels) of transporter grids - 2 pieces; gas burners (natural gas) - 2 pieces; exhaust fans - 2 pieces; J-box storage; operator platform; wide-chain field with a sub-steamer; locker and control system (panel);

Principle of operation: the canvas through the feeding and centering system enters the finishing pluses, where it is impregnated with a chemical solution and squeezed out. Further, the canvas, to reduce humidity, softening and shrinkage, is fed to the heat treatment chambers, where the fabric is dried by sinusoidal blowing from below and above, moving on a grid five-pass transporter at an advanced speed in the free state (without a stretch, into a fold), which provides better shrinkage and the softest processing of the canvas.

After thermal finishing, the canvas is sent to the J-box drive, from where it enters the wide-chain field, where the edges (cloth edge) are incandescent on the needle plates of the transport chain (wide field), which allows you to maintain the geometric structure of the canvas. Next, the fabric is cooled (by supplying a chilled air flow to the fabric), moved to the disconnection unit (where it is removed from the transport chain) and sent to the duck editing unit, to eliminate diagonal and arc distortions. The finished fabric is placed in layers in the trolley (the trolley is not included in the delivery kit).

Management and control of the machine is carried out by a single control system.

Technical characteristics: tissue supply speed 5-40 m / min, working width 3200 mm, water evaporation capacity 585 kg / h. The equipment is supplied in disassembled form.

GRI 1, 2(a) and 6

The finishing line ... for velvet (hereinafter - the Line) is designed for finishing textile canvases, consisting of several interconnected machines performing technological operations in order to obtain a canvas of specified properties.

Full description

The main components: a single-reel pile machine ..., a two-reel pile machine ..., a polishing machine, a brush machine, a shearing machine, an inspection-leveling frame, a centralized suction system.

Principle of operation: in the input device, the canvas is fed into the working area of a pile machine with one drum ... where threads are extracted from the fibers of the front or back side of the canvas to form the initial pile using the needle surface of the piles. Then the canvas alternately enters two pile machines with two drums ... to lift the pile and form a soft, fluffy cover on it with the help of rapidly rotating rollers, covered with a card needle tape on the surface of the canvas. Then it is transported to a polishing machine ... in which the pile is smoothed in the direction necessary for cutting.

After the canvas moves into the working area of the brush machine ... which with the help of three brush rollers gives the pile the necessary structure. Upon completion of the preparation of the canvas for haircut, it follows to the ORION cutting machine, in which the cutting roller gives the pile the desired appearance. After the canvas goes into the working area of the inspection and leveling frame ... where the operator makes a visual assessment of the characteristics of the processed canvas. Further on the return chain, with the help of which it is possible to adjust the width of the canvas, it enters the winder, which winds the finished canvas into a roll.

The line also includes a centralized suction system, which with the help of a cleaning pipe sucks into the dust collector the remaining pile (micropill) from the working areas of the machines that make up the line. The bracketing apparatus, which is part of the design of a centralized suction system, presses into briquettes a pile (micropool) removed from the working areas. The line is delivered in disassembled form.

Main technical characteristics: performance: from 10 to 35 linear m / minute, electric power consumption: 695 kW, maximum width of the fabric: 3400 mm, overall dimensions (DhVhS) 36191x3825x7998 mm.

The equipment is designed for finishing textile tarpaulin fabrics by coating polyvinyl chloride in order to give the fabrics moisture-protective properties and high wear resistance.

Full description

The equipment is supplied in disassembled form and consists of the following main components and components: unwinding unit with two shafts; fabric storage unit with a capacity of 20 meters - 2 pieces; preheating device with three shafts; knife unit for coating; impregnation unit; stenter - drying chamber 18 meters long (six sections of three meters); embossing and varnishing unit; cooling unit with four shafts; edge trimming unit; winding unit with two shafts; electrical control system.

Principle of operation: tarpaulin textile fabric from the unwinding unit with two shafts through a system of guide rollers enters the tissue storage device and then moves to the preheating device, where the tissue drying occurs. After that, the dried fabric on the guide rollers goes to the knife coating device, where the application of PVC composition occurs. The application of the composition is carried out between the shaft and racket knives, which remove the excess coating. Further, the fabric with the applied layer of PVC enters the impregnation unit, where there is a complete impregnation of the PVC fabric composition, and after impregnation enters the stenter (drying chamber).

After drying, the fabric is embossed and varnished and enters the cooling unit. After the cooling process, the fabric is supplied to the tissue storage device, then the edge is pruned, and the finished fabric with a PVC coating and a fully impregnated PVC composition is supplied to the winding assembly. The components and components of the equipment are interconnected in a single closed production line with synchronous drive, controlled by a single control system. The main technical parameters: roller width 3600 mm, operating speed 3-30 m / min, product width 1500-3400 mm, three-phase power, 380 V, 50 Hz, power 180 kW.

The equipment is a machine that is designed for finishing textile materials by tambling in order to soften (give pleasant tactile properties) the canvas, as well as improve its appearance.

Full description

The main components of the machine: an input group module designed to prepare the canvas for finishing (removal of excess moisture and, if necessary, impregnation of the material with chemical solutions); an input section module designed to transport the canvas to the working sections of the machine; a finishing module consisting of a chamber for the initial processing of the canvas at the entrance, a central section for treating the canvas with hot air, a final processing chamber of the canvas at the exit and a ventilation section for heating and air circulation; a canvas unloading module with a layer.

Principle of operation: the operator lays the canvas on the input group module for pressing and impregnation with chemical solutions of the material. Further, the canvas through the module of the entrance section with the help of a shaft system moves to the finishing module, where the material is picked up by a stream of heated air and hits the grille in the cloth processing chamber at the entrance. The material then passes through the central chamber, where it continues to be treated by a stream of hot air. After that, repeated machining occurs in combination with exposure to hot air in the cloth treatment chamber at the output.

Next, the canvas with the help of the stacker is moved to the trolley (not included in the delivery kit).
